Photography

I was responsible for taking and editing my own photographs while running the political news Web site, PolitickerME.com, for the New York Observer Media Group. While writing was my primary responsibility, I often found that adding a photograph could enhance the story and add additional color. My photography skills improved as I went along, and I occasionally did photo stories instead of regular news stories about rallies or protests.

I also took my own photographs on occasion while working for the Lewiston Sun Journal, and I have taken basic photo editing classes.

The following photos were taken with a provided Canon SD 1100 point and shoot compact camera and edited using Google Picasa.
